Nancy Robinson, Head Secretary

Ms. Robinson is
secretary to our Principal, Tonya Robinson, and has been with Buncombe
County Schools since 1998. She joined us at Enka High School in 2006 as
our Counseling Secretary. She is a native of Camden County, New Jersey,
and has been living in Buncombe County since 1981. She loves fall
weather, family and friends, and the Enka HS Marching Band. She is also
an active member of Lake Hills Baptist Church.
Ms. Robinson takes pride in her children and grandchildren. Her son, Justin, is employed by the State of NC as a Probation/Parole trainer and coordinator. Justin and daughter-in-law Christina, are also the owners of Shear Shack in Arden. They have a 3 year old son, Hudson, and twin girls, Ophelia and Lincoln..all which are Mrs. Robinson's pride and joy! Her daughter, Whitney, is employed by Buncombe County Schools. She is a First Grade teacher at Candler Elementary School.
Donna Palmer, Bookkeeper

Mrs. Palmer started
at Enka High School in July of 2002 as the Counseling Office Secretary.
She moved in to the NC Wise Data Manager position in December of 2002.
In August of 2004, she became Secretary to the Principal until August of 2010, when she moved in to her current job as Bookkeeper for Enka High.
Mrs. Palmer has
been married to her husband, David, since September of 1985. They are
both 1983 graduates of Enka High School. Her husband works for
Meritor Automotive. They have two sons, Jonathan and Jared. Both of them hold leadership positions at the Biltmore Estate. They are also graduates of Enka High and married Enka High graduates, so this family's blood truly does run blue! They are ALL very proud to be a Jet! Mrs. Palmer and her husband also have a grandson named Brycen. Mrs. Palmer is very proud of her family and loves spending time with them. She enjoys many extra-curricular activities, including being the pianist at her church, but her very favorite activity is shopping in Pigeon Forge with her mom and friends...and of course, exploring any part of the Smoky Mountains.
Bobbi Mukosiej, Data Manager

Mukosiej says..."It's great to be at Enka High School!" As the Data
Manager in the Counseling Office, Mrs. Mukosiej is a busy lady!
moved to Flat Rock after spending five years in Georgia, and is glad to
be back in the mountains. Prior to moving to Georgia she was employed
at Candler Elementary school for 12 years.
Mukosiej and her husband, Mark, have been married since June 1983.
Mark works in Hardwood Floor Consulting and Training. They have two
children, Christine, who is a teacher, and Kevin who is a funeral
director. They are both graduates of Enka High School.
Donna Hyatt, Counseling Secretary

Hyatt is a 1982 graduate from Enka High. She married Kemmy Hyatt, who
also graduated in 1982. Donna started working at EHS in November of
1987 as a teacher assistant. In 1988, she worked as our receptionist until taking on the job of Counseling Secretary in 2010.
and her husband have 3 daughters, Katie, Kirstie and Karley, who are all EHS
Outside of school, Mrs. Hyatt likes being with her family and friends, but her favorite thing to do includes spending time with her granddaughters, Maci and Eleni.
Cathy Cordiale, Attendance Secretary

Mrs. Cordiale is a 1990 graduate from Enka High. She has been with Buncombe County Schools since 2002 and came to Enka High in October 2015. Mrs. Cordiale and her husband, Mike, have been married since May, 2000. Mike is in his 6th year as assistant football coach at Enka and in his 2nd year as Enka Booster President. They share between them four incredible children.
Her son, Hunter Payne, is a 2014 graduate from Enka and now attends Mars Hill University where he also plays football. Her daughter, Mae Cordiale, is currently a freshman at Enka High and plays mutliple sports. The love of sports, competitive nature and love for Enka runs strong in this household for sure.
Linda Austin, Media Assistant

Mrs. Austin began subbing at Enka High School in 1988. She loved working with the students so much, she wanted to obtain a position where she could be here every day, so now she is our Media Assistant. She works a few hours in the Attendance Office, answering the phone, and writing early dismissal slips for students and Substitute Teacher sign-ins.
Mrs. Austin married Joe Austin, a 1964 Enka High School graduate, who retired from the DMV. They have three Enka High School graduates: Stephanie, a K-teacher, at Candler Elementary School, Janelle, the Buncombe County Assistant Clerk of Superior Court, and Jody, an Operations/Office Manager. They also have 6 grandchildren who are the heartstrings of their lives: Megan, a 2014 Enka High School graduate, who attends Mars Hill University; Mitchell, a 2017 Enka High School senior; and the others...Riley, Clayton, Tucker and Lilly who attend Enka District Schools.
Their family enjoys camping, kayaking, hiking, soccer games, attending church together and their annual September Jameson Apple Butter at Roan Mountain, Tennessee. Mrs. Austin and her family are PROUD TO BE JETS!
