Marketing Teacher

Welcome to the wonderful world of Marketing.  I am THE Marketing teacher at Enka High School.  What a student learns in my classroom will help with their everyday life.  That is one of the greatest benefits of taking a Marketing class.  What do I teach?
  • Marketing
  • Sports and Entertainment 1&2
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Sales I

Now let me tell you a little about myself. I am a 1986 graduate of Enka High School.  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Monetary and Financial Economics from UNC-Asheville.  I am a lateral entry teacher who was a former Pharmaceutical Sales Rep.  I received my teaching certification through NC State.  I love teaching teens and young adults about the world of marketing and sales.

I have been married for 30 years to my wonderful husband, Kenny, and have two wonderful children.  Ashley is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Mars Hill College where she majored in Physical Education and played softball for the Lions.  She is now a stay at home mom of my 6 year old grandson, Karson.  Taylor is a Magn Cum Laude graduate of East Carolina University where he majored in History and the Classics.  He is married and works as a Pharmaceutical Sales Rep for Pfizer.  Taylor and his wife, Kylie have my sweet 11 month old granddaughter, Lucy.
I am also the Senior Class Sponsor and I am in charge of Freshman Liftoff.  I love the challenges and satisfaction of getting them ready for college and getting the ready for their next step.
I have an open door policy so come by anytime.  The best way to reach me at the school is by the contact page.  This sends a email to me and I will contact you as soon as possible.  I enjoy meeting new people and hope to see you soon.  Please come by and visit.
I have always and will always be proud to be a Sugar Jet!!!
