Tonya Robinson, Principal

I am definitely proud to be a Jet!

My family and I are long time residents of the Enka-Candler Community and we are avid supporters of all things Enka!  I earned a bachelor’s degree in English from UNC Asheville and a master’s degree in school administration from Western Carolina University.

From 1983 to 1994, I taught English at Pisgah High School in Haywood County. I then served as a Language Arts teacher at Enka Middle School for five years. My move to Enka High School allowed me to return to the high school English classroom. After five years in the English classroom at Enka High School, I became an assistant principal. In 2015, I was named the Principal of Enka High School.

I am proud to be a JET and am excited about continuing my work with the Enka Candler community and helping our students reach their greatest potential.
