About Mrs. Hoffman
I am a highly qualified teacher, holding a North Carolina teaching license in K-12 Art, Printing Graphics, Digital Media and Trade & Industrial Education.
I began teaching a commercial art pathway class called Graphic Arts at the Career Education Center in February of 2006. In the fall of 2011 my program opened here, at Enka High School. In 2014 I began the transition to teaching Digital Media and the Adobe Academy and in 2015 I also took over the job of teaching journalism and producing the ENKANOCA, our school yearbook. This year I am piloting the new Drone Technology course here at Enka.
I have been moonlighting at the Biltmore Estate for several years now to earn some extra cash! If you are interested in working there, talk to me about it.
My academic interests include photography, film making, ceramics, and fine art printmaking. I also enjoy hiking in the Blue Ridge mountains with my canine cohorts, Sasha and Abbie. My big news these days are my two tiny kidos, Charlotte and Jamie. They are almost 2 years apart in age and my husband and I enjoy taking them hiking, camping and just generally being outside. I have a big garden at home and a ceramic kiln that keeps me busy.
