The Exceptional Children’s Department offers a broad spectrum of services to meet the needs of the students at Cane Creek Middle School.
Each grade level offers inclusion classes in language arts and math. The co-teaching model, with instruction shared by the regular education teacher and the special educator, is designed to support students as they access the regular education curriculum.
Resource classes are provided in reading, writing, and math for identified students in each grade level.
CCMS also has one Sustained Support classroom which provides instruction in science, social studies, and life skills in addition to reading, writing, and math.
