Enka High School uses the PBIS model for student behaviors. PBIS stands for Positive Behavior Intervention and Support. This system is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students in our school to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
This is a school-wide approach to discipline that emphasizes systems of support that include strategies for defining, teaching and supporting appropriate student behaviors that create positive school environments. At Enka High School we have adopted the acronym of RAPP as a means of identifying the areas of targeted positive behaviors in our school.
