At Enka High’s Freshman Pre-Flight orientation, excitement filled the air as parents and students walked up to the school. The moment they began walking to the gymnasium, they were greeted with the booming energy of the cheerleaders, who welcomed families with cheers of pride, waving blue and white pom-poms. The Enka Jets marching band played familiar football tunes, including the school song, that echoed across the school’s campus.

Families gathered in the gymnasium, where staff and the student government shared everything the incoming freshmen needed to know about being a proud jet. From class schedules to school traditions, the event helped both parents and students feel ready for the journey ahead. As the event wrapped up, the smiles and sense of pride showed that the newest members of the Jet family were already beginning to soar.
